Our training programme is built entirely on real experience — not borrowed theory. Every module is taught by people who have raised birds, made mistakes, recovered, and kept going.
Too many farmers in Ghana enter poultry farming without preparation and exit within their first year. Feed mismanagement, wrong breed selection, poor housing, and no record-keeping are the most common causes — and every single one of them is preventable.
The Central Region alone has seen its number of poultry farmers drop from over 3,800 to around 1,260. Kofi Farms is committed to reversing this trend — starting by training farmers who go in prepared, intentional, and properly equipped.
Our training is for aspiring farmers who want to start right, for existing farmers who are struggling, and for farm hands who want to become more valuable, more skilled, and better paid.
We train on a live, working farm. Every lesson involves real birds, real feed, and real situations.
We don't pretend farming is easy. We teach you what went wrong for us and exactly how we fixed it.
Graduates can reach us by phone or WhatsApp for continued guidance as they set up and operate their farms.
We offer three core training tracks depending on where you are in your farming journey.
For aspiring farmers who have never raised a bird. Covers everything needed to get a functioning, profitable flock off the ground on a realistic budget.
For farmers who are already operating but want to reduce costs, improve egg yield, manage disease better, and build systems that scale.
Designed for individuals seeking employment in poultry farming — and for farmers who want to upskill their existing workers. Graduates from this track are placed with poultry operations across the Central Region through our Farm Hand Supply service.
Simple, structured, and done on a real farm — not a conference room.
Send us a message via the contact page or WhatsApp telling us which track interests you and a little about your situation.
A short conversation to understand your goals, experience level, and what track is the right fit. No formal tests.
We set your training dates based on farm availability. Most programmes run over 1–3 days of intensive, hands-on sessions.
Show up at Kofi Farms in Agona Swedru and work alongside our team. You will handle real birds, real tasks, and real challenges.
Leave with a reference manual, our contact for ongoing support, and a clear action plan for your next step — whether that's starting a farm or getting placed as a farm hand.
"Success isn't about location — it's about mindset, persistence, and taking action. Ghana has opportunities too, if we focus and put in the work."
